The Horse Vitality Company develops supplementary feed for horses of pharmaceutical quality – without fillers, without harmful additives. Arisen from daily practice with horses and owners, supported by people who know what really matters in the feed bowl.
Our Story
The idea for the Horse Vitality Company didn't start at a desk, but in the stable.
Even at the age of twelve, Sandra Fencl was interested in health and balanced nutrition. At 19, she completed her training as a human health coach, followed by many equine training courses. In her work as a holistic equine therapist, she increasingly encountered horses with metabolic abnormalities or feed-related illnesses – and a market that lacked truly effective complementary feeds.
This deficiency led to a decision: to develop a complementary feed that truly deserved the name, together with the Katharinen Pharmacy in Unterhaching. Thus, the Metabolic Booster, pure magnesium citrate, and other high-quality products of pharmacy quality were gradually created. The beginning of a brand that considers equine health starting from the formulation.
The Team Behind The Horse Vitality Company
Maximilian Obernauer
Managing Director
Maximilian Obernauer spent almost 20 years in management positions at home and abroad – with a large international corporation focusing on finance and sales. In 2019, he founded Horse Vitality Company together with his partners, with the aim of sustainably changing the equine health market.
As an animal lover and long-time dog owner, he wanted to offer horses and their owners supplementary feed without fillers and harmful additives – products that holistically support health and enable a nutrient-rich diet. Today, he manages the company as Managing Director.
Constantine Rau
Product Development & Quality Assurance
Constantin Rau comes from a family of pharmacists and has been involved with the composition and physiological effects of nutritional supplements for humans and animals since his early youth. His expertise in product development and pharmacy directly influences the formulations and quality assurance of the raw materials.
For 15 years, he has also worked as a business consultant and investor, with the aim of building companies based on sustainable, natural, and organic concepts. With Sandra and Maximilian, he founded the Horse Vitality Company to develop it internationally in the field of supplements and care for horses and other animals.
